Review: Marc Jacobs Beauty | "The Lolita" Palette

I want to share with you my thoughts on "The Lolita" Style Eye-Con No.7 palette I won from a Twitter contest hosted by the Marc Jacobs Beauty team.

What it is:
A super skinny, sleek palette of seven eye shadows that harmoniously marry with a creamy, sumptuous finish.

What it does:
A super skinny and sleek design will instantly make these seven harmonized shadows become your eye essentials. Each palette of shimmery metallics, buttery mattes, and lustrous sheens are made with advanced pigments that allow true, instant color payoff, and long-lasting plush performance. Marc invites you to play and become your own Style Eye-Con.

I find the Marc Jacobs Beauty line to be luxury at its finest. When I first opened the palette out of the box, I was delighted to see that the palette comes with a pouch protector!

The one thing I dislike, is getting my finger prints all over this precious gem! I can always use my microfiber cloth I use to clean my glasses to clean this though. It has a nice big mirror, snap closure, and raised lettering on the front.

There are three beautiful mattes and four shimmers in this palette. The shadows are beautiful, perfect for everyday wear, and your looks can be easily transitioned from day to night.

The Lolita 206: matte off-white cream, matte nude, matte dark coffee brown, metallic warm pink with iridescent glitter, iridescent champagne pink sheen, light peach sheen, rosy copper sheen.

All of these are super soft and easy to work with. They blend effortlessly. The glitter shadow in the middle of the palette has a lot of fall out (fair warning! lol) but it's glitter, what can we expect right? It's a beautiful shadow none the less.

This palette retails for $59 (U.S.D. before tax).

Share with me what are your thoughts on this palette? If you have a Marc Jacobs Beauty product, what do you have and how do you like it?
