Review: Model in a Bottle | Sensitive Formula Setting Spray & Brow Sealer*

"Stay Gorgeous all day long with Model in a Bottle! No matter what type or brand of makeup you wear, our products will ensure it will stick around. From our groundbreaking Setting Sprays to the beauty blogger coveted Eyebrow Sealer, and everything in between, we promise to keep your face in place!"

My review will be primarily on the Model in a Bottle Sensitive Formula Setting Spray and I'll give a quick conclusion on the Brow Sealer and their nifty Eyelash Curler.

To give you some insight before I go into my review, in my personal experiences, I've only used one setting spray prior to receiving this one - I won't do a comparison, but if you would like me to do a comparison review, let me know in the comments below! =)

For skin reference, I'm sensitive combination.

"Feeling Sensitive? Model in a Bottle Sensitive Skin Formula gives you the same matte finish as our Original Setting Spray but with the added benefit of hydro essential oils of lavender and Aloe Vera. This magic combination adds moisture to the skin and helps control inflammation for those who have drier complexions or more sensitive skin conditions like rosacea. Model in a Bottle Sensitive Skin Formula is resistant to smudging, tears, humidity, and water."

Packaging:

This comes in a sleek and round spray bottle. The first time I used this setting spray, I shot myself in the face with the spray! Lol! I should have done a spray test (like how I usually would) before spraying this onto my face but I was too excited to use it!

Application:

Which brings me to point out about the nozzle. I THOUGHT  it could use some improvement because it did not spray evenly all over my face. I had to spray from different angles to get my entire face covered which to me kind of wastes product too? Because when I'm spraying it at different angles, not all of the product is going on to my face... I hope this made sense lol.

After a couple of times of me using this spray, sweet +jackie leung at FiveTwo Certified suggested for me to run the nozzle under some warm water and I'm like "omg, why didn't I think of that??? lol"

Setting spray should be the very last thing you do in your makeup steps (yes even after mascara!)

A warning which I have to stress because knowing me, sometimes I'm just not that great at following directions but on the bottle, we are instructed to keep our eyes closed for a good 20-30 seconds after we spray this onto our face. If you want to try to be a hard head like me, go for it and open your eyes immediately after you spray - I dare ya!

You see - what happened to me was.... my eyes got a huge bad burn for almost a good minute or two! So yes, wait out that 20-30 seconds so you don't yelping like I did for a minute or two afterwards, lol!

Is it worth it?

The setting spray retails for $21.00 (U.S.D. before tax) on the Model in a Bottle website. Yes I do find this spray to be worth its money! If you are a beauty on a budget, look no further than right here for a setting spray!

Overall, I enjoy using this spray very much! This spray made sure that my makeup would not budge for the life of me! (I'll be putting it to the test of some Texas heat once it warms up more down here!). This setting spray claims to have a matte finish but like always - my oiliness always always always makes an appearance at least ONCE throughout the day and so of course I would grab my tissue and blot as usual.

The Model in a Bottle Brow Sealer is an amazing little gem! On my no makeup days and it's just my brows that I'm wearing, I would seal it off with this little thing and be done. Prior to my new brow goodies I hauled a few weeks ago, I used a brown shadow or brow powder for my eyebrows and those can vanish pretty quick if I forget and would scratch or swipe at my brows LOL.

This Brow Sealer is awesome for extra protection for your brows ladies! This retails for $14.00 (U.S.D. before tax).

This is a cute and nifty little curler that I keep in my purse for when I'm on the go! It curls my lashes nicely and doesn't pinch my eyelids which I appreciate very much! The eyelash curler comes with replacement padding as well.

This lash curler retails for $9.00 (U.S.D. before tax).

I am very pleased with Model in a Bottle products! I highly encourage you to check them out if you haven't heard of them or are in the market for a good setting spray for your makeup stash.
