The Makeup Show Dallas | Blogger Preview Show

This whole week I'll be giving a breakdown/recap of what all I did at The Makeup Show in Dallas! Let's kick this "series" off with the exclusive Blogger Preview Show!
It started off with horrendous Friday rush hour which caused me to be 40 minutes late to the event. Now I know going forward, to be EXTRA early, it never hurts to be right? Lol.

I checked in and went to my seat while The Makeup Show's Creative Director, James Vincent was going over his favorite makeup and beauty products. To me, some of the brands I already knew of and some I did not, so I was grateful to this introductions to his favorite products (in no particular order) varying from Make Up For Ever, NARS, Kevyn Aucoin, Smashbox, Amika Hair, Gleam by Melanie Mills, MustaeV, Bdellium Tools, just to name a few!

James also talked to us about The Makeup Show itself. Yes the show offers the advantage of shopping and stocking up your professional makeup kits with pro discounts, but the main goal out of this 2-day exhibit is to focus on learning, networking, and being inspired. These three things have stuck with me ever since I heard about The Makeup Show and researched more into it. My next post will cover about the Key Notes and Seminars I had planned to attend, so we will cover more in depth with that soon!

James Vincent also gave us some insight on celebrating Dany Sanz's Make Up For Ever's 30th Anniversary. In honor of this great milestone, 30 world renowned Make Up Artists including Dany Sanz, James Vincent, Ve Neill, Melanie Inglessis, and many more chose an eye shadow from the Make Up For Ever shadow collection that best represents themselves. I'll be covering an entire post dedicated to this anniversary so stay tune for that!

After the preview show, everyone moved over to another area while the TMS team were working hard, setting up everything for the weekend, to network and mingle.

This is where the bad blogger in me came out, I realized I didn't get to take many pictures of the event because I was so busy meeting and interacting with everyone! Many apologies my dears!

The first person I got to meet and hug in person was CoffeeBreakwithDani! I know of her through my sweetheart blogging bestie, +Lily AyalaBeauty with Lily and am so thankful to meet another wonderful sweetheart because Dani is exactly that! We talked and talked about a little bit of everything! Beauty, how we got started in YouTube (Dani) and blogging (me), the Mommy life, our two little boys who are the same age and have similar nicknames! Dani was a joy to talk to and connect with <3

I also got to finally meet a blogging friend from Instagram, Jaleesa from The Fashion Geek! She's an absolute doll, I feel like she's a dress up doll because she dresses so fashionably and beautifully, I can't help but be envious of her style! We were all heavily into conversations that pictures were forgotten to capture the moment!

I also met two more local blogger beauties, Stephanie at Beauty & Gardens and Cris at My Fashion Juice. These two ladies were a joy to conversate with and I was intrigued to learn and talk to them because we are all at different levels of expertise on blogging. I was able to steal a picture of us three from Stephanie's Instagram which I reposted to my account as well but here it is again! =D (Thanks so much Steph! <3)

Cris, Stephanie, and me <3
I very much appreciate the Blogger Preview because it was THE gateway to networking with everyone. I was not aware of how many wonderful bloggers there are in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex and it makes me so happy to have been able to meet and connect with some of these beauties! The turnout was amazing because not only were there local bloggers but I also got a chance to meet with the The Makeup Show's team, the owner Shelly Taggar, local DFW makeup artists, and makeup artists who flew in from California, New York, etc.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience and evening!

Here's an #OOTD and detail pictures I didn't get to post. I switched to heels before I got out of the car lol!

I didn't mention this before but when I got to my seat, I was greeted by a lovely gift bag waiting for me in my chair! The Makeup Show and sponsors very generously gifted the bloggers who attended the preview show all of James' favorite beauty products he spoke about! Here's a peek at the special treat bag, I'll be giving individual beauty reviews on each product so stay tune for loads of reviews!

Again, I apologize for the lack of pictures from the Blogger Preview Show but brace yourselves for pictures from The Makeup Show in the next few posts!

Thanks so much for reading, hope y'all are having a great day!
