Before I discovered the Dermalogica PreCleanse Oil and PreCleanse Wipes, I had two different ways of taking off my makeup (baby wipes and a Makeup Eraser cloth).
Deep-cleansing oil melts impurities and make-up from skin. As the first step in your Double Cleanse regimen, PreCleanse thoroughly melts away layers of excess sebum (oil), sunscreen, waterproof make-up, pollutants and products that build up on skin, allowing your prescribed Dermalogica Cleanser to penetrate even further for professional cleansing results.
I've used the PreCleanse Oil a few times and it works very effectively. I would use small amounts of the oil at a time and work on my face (massaging the oil) in sections. The oil melts away all of my makeup completely. However I do not like the product.
I dislike the oily makeup mess that the PreCleanse Oil creates while its working. I find that my cold cream doesn't get as messy as the PreCleanse Oil so I plan to just stick to what I've already been using.
Between the two preclease products, I prefer the PreCleanse Wipes more.
Achieve ultra clean and healthy skin on the go with the Double Cleanse regimen that begins with PreCleanse. Each biodegradable wipe melts away layers of excess sebum (oil), sunscreen, waterproof make-up, pollutants and products, allowing your prescribed Dermalogica Cleanser to penetrate even further for professional cleansing results.
The PreCleanse Wipes are convenient for when you're on the go. It removes my makeup effortlessly and easily with just one cloth. The one thing that's not favorable to me is the price point. The PreCleanse Wipes cost $18.00 for a 20-count.
The PreCleanse Oil comes in a two sizes (1 oz. and 5.1 oz.) - the 1 oz. sells for $10.00 (U.S.D.) and the 5.1 oz. sells for $38.00 (U.S.D.).
