Review: Bioderma Sensibio H2O (Beautylish)

Bioderma is a French skincare brand whose products are known for being highly effective but gentle enough to use on even the most sensitive skin. Bioderma understands the importance of maintaining skin health. Their teams of biologists and dermatologists have conducted extensive research to create a line of products designed to protect the skin and boost its resistance to environmental factors. Their products are loved throughout the world and can be found in the kits of top makeup artists.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O (also known as CrĂ©aline H2O) is a no-rinse micellar cleanser and makeup remover specially formulated for sensitive, normal to dry skin types. It can even remove water-resistant face and eye makeup! A soothing emollient thanks to cucumber extract, it clears up irritated skin and produces a feeling of instant freshness. Fragrance-free, alcohol-free, paraben-free, and hypoallergenic.

Although Bioderma Sensibio H2O is marketed more as a makeup remover, I found out from the Beautylish team when they were at The Makeup Show Dallas that this product is also a wonderful toner.

Given the circumstances that my skin has been dealing with for the past few months, I've pulled this product out of my giftbag from The Makeup Show's Blogger Preview and started to use the Bioderma Sensibio H2O immediately after I wash my face.

I remember being advised by a professional artist over at the MAKE UP FOR EVER booth from The Makeup Show to look for a toner with cucumber extracts which would help heal my skin from all the breakouts I've been having. I thought to myself, how perfect is the Bioderma Sensibio H2O for me?!?! The beauty gods really wanted to help save me and they did with Bioderma!

I've been using my Bioderma Sensibio H2O on a daily basis (morning and night after washing my face) ever since the Saturday of The Makeup Show.

It's been about three weeks now and I remember the day after my first time of using Bioderma at how much my skin improved overnight! My acne is slowly disappearing, slowly BUT surely. I've noticed how fast my skin has been healing compared to the past month of trying other things and ways.

I apply my Bioderma Sensibio H2O with a cotton ball. It is very cooling and dries almost immediately leaving no residue behind which I love! My skin is left feeling so soft and smooth!

Toners are a big hit and miss for me, they're either too strong in scent because of the acidic ingredients in them or just too strong for my skin because my skin has become sensitive as I'm aging.

I now understand what all the rave reviews have been about over Bioderma Sensibio H2O and it has kicked all other toners out of my beauty stash! I very much appreciate at the efforts of Beautylish to make Bioderma available to their U.S. consumers.

For my beauties on a budget, have no worries! Bioderma is very cost friendly and I've linked the product straight to the Beautylish site for you so you can immediately buy one!

Thanks so much for reading with me! Have you tried or heard of Bioderma before? Let me know what you think in the comments below! xx

  5. Lol I completely understand!!! I used to be bad about skipping toners and going straight to moisturizers but with all the crazy breakouts I've been experiencing, a toner was much needed to help clear up these bumps! If you don't feel the need for it love, no need to spend on it imo! However (sorry in no means trying to enable you haha!), Bioderma doubles as a makeup remover so maybe that will pique your interest more :)
