What I Use to Highlight & Contour (Update)

I can't believe that it's been two years since I last shared my highlight and contouring products with y'all and from these last two years, a LOT has changed along the way for me. If you're curious to know what I used before, feel free to check out that post here.

Please keep in mind that even though this is an update on my highlight and contour routine. That doesn't mean I don't recommend the products I've mentioned and used in my old h&c post. I still love all of those products! It's just that time has gone by, my makeup stash expanded along the way.

Anastasia's Contour Kit is fool proof and when I'm feeling lazy and don't want to mess around with a lot of products, I'll grab this.

On days when I wake up feeling narcissistic (lol) and want to take time to make myself look my best, I grab Paloma.

Albatross is gorgeous and I can't get enough of it. It's a pressed and perfect for a subtle glow.

When I want a glow without having to put too much work into it, I reach for Aura. One sweep of this on top of my cheekbone and BAM, you're glowing hard girl lol.

Ben Nye Luxury Powder - Banana

I love my Banana powder because it helps neutralize my contour if I overdid it and I also use it to set my concealer.

Brushes (From Left to Right:)

You may actually see one or two brushes from my old H&C post and best believe it that these brushes are still a staple in my H&C routine!

First Brush: No brand name - I bought a set of basic brushes from Walmart many years ago and can't believe how soft and how much an excellent quality these are! I use this brush to apply my contour lines.

Real Techniques Contour Brush: Sometimes I use this to apply my contour but since the brush is a bit bigger than my preference (compared to the first brush), I'll use this to buff out my contour instead.

Third Brush: It came from the Walmart set like the first brush and is actually a concealer brush but I love the density of the brush and use this to contour my nose since the first brush is a bit too big for that.

Bdellium Blending Brush #776: I use this to blend out the contour on my nose.

Real Techniques Buffing Brush: If I'm in a hurry, I'll reach for this buffing brush to blend out my contour instead of the actual RT Contour Brush.

Sixth Brush: Also from the Walmart set. I love to use this brush to pat down the Vanilla powder from the ABH Contour Kit under my eyes. It helps brighten up my eyes tremendously!

EcoTools Powder Brush: I use this brush to sweep off excess Banana Powder.

I hope you enjoyed my updated H&C post! Let's chat below, share with me some of your must have products when you highlight and contour!
