April 2016 Subscription Boxes [Sephora Play! & PopSugar Must Have]

In addition to my usual monthly dose of Sephora Play, I've gotten my hands on the PopSugar Must Have box.

I found out that Chrissy Teigen's Cravings book was going to be a part of the box and so I had to get my hands on it. The value of the PopSugar Must Have box always pays out more than what you actually pay so it was a nice 'treat yoself' box to myself :)

This month, the Sephora Play! box is encouraging you to spruce up your routine with the latest trends with innovative formulas and brands.

Milk Makeup Sunshine Oil is a blend of moisturizing natural oils - grape seed, avocado, grapefruit peel, tangerine peel, mandarin orange peel, and lemon peel oil. You can apply this oil all over your face and body.

Sunday Riley 'Good Genes' Treatment is an 'all-in-one' lactic acid treatment that brightens, exfoliates, plumps lines, evens hyper-pigmentation, and increases circulation for instant radiance.

Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream is a hydrating and brightening on-the-go cream that refreshes the undereye area using a blend of seven peptides. You can use this over and under makeup!

NARS Satin Lip Pencil - Rikugien is beautiful dusty rose shade. This is a creamy lipliner + lipstick in one, perfect to take with you on the go!

Sephora Colorful Cheek Ink Gel - Peony is a long-lasting gel tint that goes on sheer or be built up based on your preference. Use a blush brush for a precise, evenly blended application.

Derek Lam 10 Crosby '2AM Kiss' channels the fashion-forward style of New York City. It's modern scent consists of a blend of salty woods and crystallized amber.
The PopSugar Must Have April box is described as floral, green, natural, sustainable, fresh, and renewal.

As I mentioned, I really wanted to get my hands on this particular box because of the Cravings cookbook by Chrissy Teigen. I think that she is a lovely woman and is so funny! Her book is beautiful inside and out, consisting pictures of drool-worthy food, sweet photos of her and John Legend enjoying their food. I can't wait to start using her recipes!

All of the items in this month's box are great essentials for the home and for our vanities. I gifted the Royal Apothic Hand Creme and Farmacy Sleep Tight Firming Night Balm to my Mother-in-law - she absolutely loves them!

The one item that is missing from my picture is the Next by Nature Dark Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans - my husband and I were quick to open those to share and I completely forgot to add it into the photo op! We've never had chocolate covered espresso beans and they were delicious! I don't think we've ever been disappointed with a snack in the past boxes.

I've really enjoyed both boxes this month! If you are interested in getting a beauty or lifestyle subscription box, I highly recommend both!

What subscription services do you have or are interested in? I've had my fair share of Birchboxes, Ipsy glam bags, Sephora Play!, and PS Must Have - so let's chat about it below!

  1. That's great that the Sephora box had a Sunday Riley sample in it! I've been wanting to try some products from that brand. Both boxes look nice! Right now, I'm happy to only get Glossybox, but that could change at any moment! lol
