Once I found out that I was pregnant, I immediately started using Palmer's Cocoa Butter (alternating with Bio-Oil) on my belly to help prepare my growing belly up to now. With all the growing my baby is doing in my belly, I want to share with you what all affordable body and skincare products I've been using and loving (for face and body).
I'm in the last few weeks of my second trimester and have been experiencing some major changes with my body and complexion. One day I woke up and looked in the mirror and was amazed at how "I blew up overnight," lol. A few days after that, I've been dealing with the most unbearable itch in the tummy area.
If you're dealing with an itchy belly, I recommend using the Aveeno Moisturizing Bar Soap to cleanse and the Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion moisturizer after. This helped relief the itching tremendously!
For my (super dry) complexion:
During a trip to Target, I found the Laneige skincare line and was eager to try something by them! I opted for their travel-sized Good Night Kit which has their Mulberry Yogurt Repairing Mask and Water Sleeping Mask. I've used the masks twice a week for a few weeks now, and I love it!
I apply the Mulberry Yogurt Repairing Mask and leave that on for ten minutes, and then afterwards, I immediately put on my Derma E Hydrating Night Creme follow by the Water Sleeping Mask (which stays on overnight and rinse off the next morning). The results are definitely impressive - my complexion is hydrated, bright, and glowing! (I went back to Target and bought two more kits to keep on deck!)
P.S. Did you know that Derma E had been working hard on a new packaging design? I'll be sharing that with you in the upcoming so hang tight! In the mean time, you can click below to look more into the products I've mentioned today!
