Review: NARS Eye Paint Collection

Line, highlight, shade and define with modern artistic versatility.  Introducing new NARS Eye Paint—a brilliant pot of high-impact pigment in an innovative silky, weightless gel formula. Rich, hyper-saturated shades that glide smoothly and dry down quickly in long-lasting finishes from icy metallics to modern mattes.  Elevated artistry that boldly strays from the straight and narrow.
  • Multi-use application.
  • 18-hour wear.
  • Highly-saturated.
  • Weightless gel texture dries smoothly and quickly.
  • Replace cap securely after use.
  • Remove using a dual phase eye makeup remover such as NARS Gentle Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover.

NARS released ten shades in the Eye Paint Collection which released back on September 1,2013. The prize I won are six gorgeous shades from the collection as well as an Angled Brush that also came out in the release.

These pretty babies are amazing gel pigments! You can use these Eye Paints as a liner or as a shadow. The power stay is phenomenal (8 hours+ for me with NO primer!).

The formula is weightless and applying this to your lids is effortless. When I was swatching these Eye Paints, they dry pretty quickly so I would advise for you to work really fast if you want to blend these out!

Mesopotamia is described as "brown." It is a deep chocolate brown with a matte finish.

Mozambique is a matte olive green.

Ubangi is black with blue shimmer.

Snake Eyes is black with green shimmer.

Solomon Islands is a matte turquoise blue.

Interstellar is a shimmery silver.

The NARS Angled Brush is a nice and dense brush that I can use to either line my eyes or use to shade my brows in with my brow powder.

After playing around with these Eye Paints, I'm really impressed with the quality and the versatility of it.

Each NARS Eye Paint weighs 0.08 oz./2.5 g and retails for $25  (U.S.D. before tax) a pot. The NARS Angled Brush retails for $26 (U.S.D. before tax).
