Review: NARS | Guy Bourdin "One Night Stand" Cheek Palette

NARS released an exclusive limited holiday collection featuring a famous French fashion photographer, Guy Bourdin.

His work was famously known for it's sensuality, provocative, and some even considered his work to be sinister. Francois Nars credits Bourdin as his major lifelong inspiration, thus this special collection was created to pay homage to the infamous man.

The packaging of this cheek palette is what I would say is your standard luxe NARS package. It has a soft and smooth matted rubber feeling. Sorry, rubber may be not "luxe" lol but that's what it reminds me of. I wish I can give you all a better description but I am sure you know how the packaging of all NARS products are! This material of the packaging is bound to get dirty easily! I feel that once dust touches it, it will be hard to clean off? I still keep my palettes in the box (it feels so special to bring it out of the box, every single time lol!).

The label design is your standard NARS logo as well but with Guy Bourdin's name plastered right on top which in my opinion definitely makes the palette that much special and an attention grabber!

There are six shades in this beautiful palette. The shades are as follow:

Top Row (L-R):
  • Devotee Highlighter (0.14oz) - highlighter glow
  • Mistinguette Blush (0.14oz) - bubblegum pink
  • Orgasm Blush (0.14oz) - peachy pink with golden shimmer
Bottom Row (L-R):
  • Laguna Bronzer (0.14oz) - diffused brown powder with golden shimmer
  • Deep Throat Blush (0.14oz) - flirty sheer peach
  • Goulue Blush (0.14oz) - deep rose
L-R: Devotee, Mistinguette, Orgasm, Laguna, Deep Throat, Goulue

Everything is absolutely beautiful and I can help but beam with such pride to own such a beautiful palette! All of the shades are buttery soft and blends out effortlessly!

I love how I can contour, highlight, and apply blush just from this one palette! Cuts out a lot of products to bring out!

Overall I am very very VERY pleased with this palette! I've always wanted to own the famous Laguna bronzer, Orgasm, and Deep Throat blushes and now I have all three plus more. Special thank you to the best husband ever <3 (Not that he reads my blog lol, but giving credit where it's due!)

I've gone back online to look for this palette but I think it's sold out?!?! I remember this palette being at Sephora for $65 (U.S.D. before tax).

I used this palette for my Holiday Glam "Christmas Day Look" which you can look at here

Do you have this palette? If you do, what are your thoughts on it? Or if you  have any makeup from this exclusive collection, let me know in the comments below!
