Review: Born Pretty Store | Affectionate Love Baked Blush*

Today I'm going to share with you my two cents on a gorgeous blush I received from

Looking at the outside packaging and the label on the back of the blush, I was only able to read the brand name, Affectionate Love and saw that the blush label had 'Japan' printed on it so I'm assuming that this is a Japanese makeup product which makes it exciting for me because I'm an admirer of Asian cosmetics! It's not easily accessible for me and I would love to order online but I would prefer to see the items in person, inspect the product, swatch them, etc.

Let's get into the deets of this pretty little thing!

The packaging of the blush is adorable! It is a light pink jeweled shape compact. The blush can be lifted and you'll find a mirror and an uber soft blush brush!

I received the baked blush in shade #01 which is a shimmered light peachy pink color.

After a few swatches, using my brush to swirl and play with the blush, I find the blush a bit too shimmery for my liking. This blush swatches beautifully and the pink is not as intense as it looks in the package.

Instead of using this for the apples of my cheeks, I've been using this blush as a highlighter on my cheeks instead. It makes a really pretty highlighter and gives my face a healthy glow.

The blush is not chalky and goes on to my skin really nice and smooth.

The blush brush is seriously one of the softest brushes I've ever felt! The only downside is that it sheds a lot and so I have not put it to use. I'll just keep it looking pretty in the compact and MAYBE use it when I'm out on the go.

Overall, I'm enjoying this sweet little package. I absolutely adore the brand name, Affectionate Love and feel that the design of this blush suits perfectly with it. The quality is amazing and for my beauties on a budget, is selling this sweet thing for $7.74 (U.S.D.)!!! This baked blush also comes in 5 more shades!

The best part is, you can get an additional 10%  using my coupon code "EOH10." The code doesn't expire so if you love shopping at Born Pretty, feel free to use my code for extra savings!
